I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!
On Saturday Allison and I went to my sister's house to celebrate with my side of the family, unfortunately Mike had to work so he wasn't able to join us. Allison got to enjoy her first Easter Egg Hunt..a special thanks to Grandpa Brian who joined us on the hunt. It was a great day with family, we just wished Mike could have been their with us.
On Sunday we went down to Cottage Grove to celebrate with Mike's Mom's side of the family. Mike actually rode his bike down there from home...around 65 miles. He is training for a ride in May and he hasn't had much time to ride so he took this opportunity. It worked out perfectly, he left early in the morning and got to his Grandma's about 10 minutes after Allison and I did. We had another great afternoon with family and spent time at the park.
When we finally made it home we were all pretty pooped....but not too pooped to finally let Allison see what the Easter Bunny had left for her!
Every holiday is a reminder of how lucky we are to have family who we love and genuinely enjoy spending time with!
