Apple Orchard

We took advantage of an unexpected day off for Mike (it's pretty rare for him to get a day off during the weekend in the Fall due to Fitzharris' Swaps) and went to the Apple Orchard.  After asking for some advice on the best ones for children Allison's age we decided to try Apple Jacks Orchard in Delano, MN.  Allison had a blast and Mommy and Daddy had a lot of fun too!  Here are some pictures of our day...

The #1 reason we chose Apple Jacks, Pony Rides.  Allison was SO excited when we told her she was going to ride a pony,  She said "pony ride" no less than 100 times before she was on the pony!

They had a little mini maze for the smaller kids, a big huge one everyone else.  Not sure why anyone would want to do a big corn maze...have they never seen Children of the Corn?!?  No thanks, I'll pass!

On the Tractor Ride with Daddy!  Allison wasn't about to take the apple juice out of her mouth to smile for a picture.  This was her first time having juice and she loved it!

 

 Allison getting her face painted!  I was surprised how well she sat still for it (that doesn't happen too often).  As soon as she was done she went to look in the mirror and then she climbed back on the chair to try and get another one.

We had a great time, and we can't wait to go back next year!
